Course Description
​
This class is an introduction to transportation engineering and planning. 
 
The goal is to equip students with basic knowledge of the various modes of transportation, where they are used and how they are used.
​
We will look at the interdependance between transportation type and land use. We will focus on understanding how transportation affect social live, the economy and the environment.
​
And we will learn how to use some basic transportation techniques for the planning and design of sustainable places and the supporting transportation systems.
​
 
Grade Assessment

* Finals may count as 3/6 to replace one quiz

Late HW and Projects will not be credited except by prior arrangements based on an appropriate excuse.
